Herring baked in foil - Sweden

Herring baked in foil - Sweden - RecipeINGREDIENTS:

4 clean herrings
4 bay leaves
1 lemon, sliced                                          
50g butter
2 tbsp parsley, chopped
salt and pepper

1 Salt the herrings and put 1 bay leave inside each one of them.

2 Spread the slices of lemon on the foil and place the herrings on it.

3 Mix the butter with parsley and pepper. Coat herrings with the mixture and wrap in foil.

4 Bake for 15 - 20 minutes

5 Serve with bread.
