Artychokes Alá Sicily
INGREDIENTS:
8 artychokes
1/2 dl oil
1/2 onion, chopped
1 lemon
1 clove garlic, crushed
3 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp bread crumbs
4 anchovy, boneless
parsley, chopped
salt and pepper
butter
1 Cut the top and the bottom of the artichokes. Sprinkle the cut part with lemon juice. Open the leaves and salt and pepper the inside of each artichoke.
2 Saute onion, garlic and parsley in a pan. Fry breadcrumbs separately.
3 Crush butter and anchovy.
4 Mix saute from onions, garlic and parsley with bread crumbs and anchovy with butter. Stir well.
5 Fill the artichokes so the mixture is in the middle and between leaves too.
6 Place artichokes into the baking dish and add 2 ladle of water. Sprinkle artichokes with oil. Cover with lid and bake in oven on low heat until soft.
