Cod Soup - Bangladesh
INGREDIENTS:
2 liter water
400g cod fillets, diced
2 onions, finely chopped
2 potatoes, diced
2 tbsp lentils
2 tbsp peas
2 tbsp beans
1 hot pepper
2 bay leaves
1/2 tsp allspice powder
1/2 tsp chilli
1/2 tsp cumin, crushed
1/2 tsp clove powder
20g butter
salt
1 Leave lentils, peas and beans in a water over the night.
2 Salt the fish and fry on butter with onions in a deep pot. Add boiling water.
3 Add potatoes, beans, peas and lentils.
4 Add the rest of ingredients and cook until soft.
5 Add lemon juice before serving and salt to your taste if necessary.
