Buckwheat Porridge - Slovakia
700g buckwheat
1 liter boiling water
500g potatoes, cooked
100g cooking fat
2 leeks, chopped
2 gloves garlic, crushed
marjoram
salt
1 Pour boiling water over buckwheat, cover with lid and leave it for 1/2 hour.
2 Fry the leeks on a cooking fat.
3 Press the potatoes through colander into buckwheat. Add salt, marjoram, garlic and leeks. Stir well.
Serve as a main course or as a side dish with pork or sausages.
