Indian Ragout Chicken - India
1 chicken, in small portions
2 onions, chopped
6 cloves garlic, crushed
6 clove
3 tomatoes, diced
6 potatoes, diced
salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp allspice
6 seeds pepper
1 tsp curry powder
150g butter
0,2 liter soured cream or white yogurt
water
1 Salt chicken and fry on butter in a pan.
2 Remove the chicken portions and fry onion and garlic. When onion turns golden brown add tomatoes.
3 Add soured cream after 10 minutes. Lower the heat and stir well.
4 Add chicken, spices and water. Cook for about 20 minutes.
5 Add potatoes and cook for another 20 minutes. Add water if necessary.
