Mackerel On Dates - Saudi Arabia
INGREDIENTS:
20g dry dates
2 onions, chopped
1 garlic, crushed
8 black pepper seeds
8 cloves
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp nut meg powder
1 tsp sweet paprika powder
1 tsp cardamon
1 tsp coriander
1 tsp turmeric powder
salt
1 Place dates into the water for 1 hour. Salt the mackerels.
2 Mix onion, garlic and all spice together. Add bit of water and stir very well.
3 Place this mixture inside the fish and secure the edgers with toothpicks.
4 Stone the dates and use food processor to make a paste ( add just little bit of water )
5 Brush mackerels with paste from all sides.
6 Grill for 5 minutes on each side.
