Sailor Steak - Sweden
400g beef, sliced
1kg potatoes, peeled and sliced
30g cooking fat
1 onion, chopped
0,3 liter dark beer
salt and pepper
1 Tenderize the meat, salt and pepper to your taste from both sides. Fry shortly on cooking fat.
2 Fry onion until slightly golden.
3 Brush the baking dish with cooking fan and place layer of potatoes in it.
4 Place meat, onions and potatoes in layers so the top layer will be from potatoes. Pour over the beer.
5 Cover with lid and bake until meat is soft.
