Lentil Soup - Syria
1,5 liter water
500g lentils
2 onions, chopped
2 tbsp oil
60g spinach, chopped
1 tsp pepper
juice from 1 lemon
salt
1 Fry onions on oil. Add lentils.
2 Add boiling water and cook for 1,5 hour.
3 Salt to your taste. Add spinach and cook for additional 20 minutes.
4 Add pepper and lemon juice to your taste.
